My favorite cookie ever

I made some of my absolute favorite cookies ever today. I only make them at Christmas because I would be in serious trouble if I had these all the time! They are so melt-in-your-mouth yummy!

Gooey Butter Cookies

1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 yellow cake mix
1/4 cup confectioner's sugar

Cream together the cream cheese, butter, egg, & vanilla extract. Stir in the cake mix until well blended. Roll into 1 inch balls and roll in confectioner's sugar. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-13 minutes.

omigosh...those do sound yummy! i would probably have to make them late at night...so i could cover up the evidence that they were ever made, since i'm sure i'd eat them all;0)

YUM! My mouth is watering just reading the recipe. It looks so easy using the cake mix! TFS!

I just looked at my verification word... you know the one I have to type in to post. It's: bakeout. I thought that was a quite a coincidence being on a baking post. lOL!
